NOAA: 3-6″ of Snow Forecast for Alta, UT This Weekend

CURRENT NOAA SNOW FORECAST SUNDAY-MONDAY:

Alta, UT is expecting 3-5" of new snow

The NOAA is forecasting 3-6″ of new snow in the Wasatch Mountains this weekend (Saturday and Sunday, 9/28/19-9/29/19) in high-elevation areas.

Snow will be localized to high elevation peaks: several inches of snow will be possible for all mountains above 8000 feet from the Cottonwoods northward.

Alta Ski Area and surrounding Utah resorts may see up to 6 inches of new snow early by Sunday morning on through Monday.
