NOAA: Fresh Snow Is On Tap For Wyoming | 4-8″ of Snow Friday Night – Saturday

A strong cold front and a spirt of heavy precipitation is expected to impact Jackson Hole Mountain Resort & Grand Targhee Friday Night – Saturday. The National Weather Service is calling for heavy snow, which should result in a powder day at the resorts on Saturday. Along with that, snow is in the forecast almost everyday next week.

This system is expected to be accompanied by a strong cold front, so snow is expected to fall at all elevations, but the heaviest accumulations are expected to occur in the mountains.

The extended forecast is calling for snow almost everyday through next week, which should set these resorts up nicely for the holidays.

...Snow and colder temperatures for Teton county tonight and
Saturday...

Snow will spread east into Teton County this evening becoming
widespread by late evening. Snowfall is expected to continue
through Saturday with snow accumulations of 4 to 8 inches in the
mountains and 2 to 3 inches in the valleys.

Travel may become difficult on Teton and Togwotee passes.
