NOAA: Significant Halloween Snow Headed For Grand Targhee Resort, WY | 8-12+” Today – Thursday Morning

The National Weather Service has issued a Winter Weather Advisory for Grand Targhee Resort, WY. It’s in effect from 12:00pm Today – 9:00am Thursday Morning. Significant snowfall is forecasted to impact the area throughout that time.

• 8-12+” of Snow Today – Thursday Morning

“A cold front moving into the region this afternoon will bring widespread snow showers in   the west and north. A Winter Weather Advisory is in effect for the Teton and Gros Ventre   mountains for significant snowfall, with sub-advisory level snow in other areas.”

Snow levels are forecasted to hover around 6,000ft, but the highest accumulations are expected to occur in the mountains.

The 6-10 day temperature outlook is calling for above average precipitation and average temperatures in Wyoming.
