Up to 3″ of snow is forecast above 8,500-feet this week.  It’s not much, but we’ll take it.  Lord knows, we need the water.

NOAA does hint at another snow producing system coming through next week around November 2nd…

Mammoth should get a health dosage which could really help with their proposed opening date of November 6th.

NOAA SAYS:

Showers and light rain associated with an incoming system will develop late Tuesday night and Wednesday. Precipitation chances will continue through Thursday and Friday for the higher elevations. We’re forecasting the Valley and Desert regions will get up to 0.1” of rain, up to 0.25” for the foothills, and up to 0.50” in the mountains. Snow levels will be around 8500 feet with up to 3” expected. The best chance for measurable precipitation will be in the Northern San Joaquin Valley and Sierra.” – NOAA, Hanford, CA
