NOAA: Vermont to See Up To 6″ Tonight | New England to See Up To 12″ by the Weekend

Central and northern New England could see up to 11″ snow between now and the end of the week. Keep an eye on Mount Snow, Killington, Stowe, Wildcat or Sunday River for the best powder days.

Snow will begin to impact southern Vermont (Mount Snow, Stratton, Killington) and New Hampshire (Sunapee) during the early morning hours and will persist throughout the day, with some areas possibly seeing up to 6″ tonight, followed by another couple of inches Wednesday. As the week progresses, expect sub-zero temperatures on Thanksgiving.

Heavy snow will fall late Thursday into Friday evening over much of New England, favoring central Vermont (Killington), pushing into Jay Peak, Stowe, Sugarbush. These areas may exceed a weekly total of 10-12 inches by Saturday morning, but most New England resorts should see a solid 7-10 inches by Saturday morning.
