NOAA has issued a Winter Storm Warning for Vermont, New York, and New Hampshire today and tomorrow that is calling for 6-12″ of snow and a bit of ice glaze.
Sounds like it’s going to be a funky storm with snow, then freezing rain, then snow again.
VERMONT:
Total snow accumulations of 6 to 12 inches and ice accumulations of a light glaze are expected. - NOAA, today
NEW HAMPSHIRE:
Additional snow accumulations of 5 to 8 inches are expected. - NOAA,today
NEW YORK:
Total snow accumulations of 6 to 12 inches and ice accumulations of around one tenth are expected. - NOAA, today

Light to moderate snow will impact the region today with 3 to 6 inches expected through tonight. There will be a brief break in the precipitation tonight, then snow, sleet, and freezing rain will develop across the area on Saturday morning... before ending as a period of all snow.
