Woodward Copper is a leader in freestyle skiing and snowboarding, pushing the bounds of progression for athletes of all ages and ability levels. During the summer, Woodward’s on-snow camp experience allows adults and kids to elevate their terrain park skills through a variety of training techniques and world-class facilities. Woodward Summer Camp begins in May with an adult week of camp followed by 10 weeklong sessions between June and August of summer camp for kids ages 7-17. Woodward Copper offers the longest season of on-snow summer camp in the state, with weeklong sessions being offered until August 9. The only of its kind in Colorado, the on-mountain glacier is located at an elevation of 10,600 ft. boasting a terrain park with jumps, jibs, rails and gravity-defying park features. The park sits on four acres of terrain serviced by a surface lift, optimal for making repeated laps on the snow.

One of the most popular aspects of the camp experience is the opportunity to learn alongside professional skiers and snowboarders who are legends and innovators in their respective disciplines. Kids can train in tandem with pro snowboarders Red Gerard, Zeb Powell, Jamie Anderson, Danny Davis, Jill Perkins and more. Skiers Alex Ferreira, Taylor Seaton, Joss Christensen and Tom Wallisch will also be joining campers on snow. For a full list of pros visiting camp this summer, visit CopperColorado.com.

The Barn also has ParkBoards™ and ParkSkis™, which are wheeled skis and snowboards that allow riders to practice jumps into a foam pit before replicating tricks on the snow. With exclusive access to Copper’s world-class training facilities, qualified coaching staff and shared knowledge from visiting professional athletes, Woodward summer camp is unrivaled in providing one-of-a-kind experiences for burgeoning shredders.

Each participant can review on-hill video of themselves tackling new skills and access to the Barn for progression-based training on trampolines, foam pits and ramps.
