The Pacific Northwest of the USA has only 6 ski resorts still open. ย It was a strange year up there, but these resorts are still kicking and there is still fun to be had. ย The higher elevation ski resorts such as Mt. Bachelor have well this year as they’ve been able to avoid lower elevation rains and hang onto the snow they have. ย Bachelor still has a 94″ base a mid-mountain.

  1. At the Clearing Rock Bar at Bachelor as we speak. Taking a break after 22,0000 vertical feet today. It is snowing right now. About 3″ of new so far.

  2. Damn, March / April I wish I lived closer to a major ski area…I live near NYC and I’m not doing the 4 / 5 hour drive to a good ski area for spring conditions skiing…but if I lived nearby I could ski the 35 degree days immediately after dumps and skip the 55 degree days. I envy people that live within an hour or two of great skiing, especially great late season skiing.

Got an opinion? Let us know...
