Paoli Peaks in Indiana announced on social media that the resort would close for the season on February 25. The resort typically has a comparably short season, with last year’s season ending on February 22, while in other years it has managed to offer skiing and boarding until the first week of March. Rarely Paoli Peaks has been able to stay open until mid-March, such as in the 2019/20 season.

For its last day, Paoli Peaks operated from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. and offered complimentary s’mores for visitors.

Paoli Peaks is north of Hoosier National Forest and is situated at 900 feet elevation with a vertical drop of 300 feet. The resort features 17 ski runs which are serviced by five chairlifts and three surface lifts. The resort sees about 25 inches of natural snowfall on average but has sufficient snowmaking to ensure enough snow throughout its season from late December to late February/early March. Paoli Peaks has been owned by Vail Resorts since 2019.
