Winter has returned to Copper Mountain in Colorado! Over the weekend, the resort saw 15″ of fresh snow, bringing the week’s total to 21″.

Conditions are excellent for late April, which has allowed it to extend its season into May. With no official closing date, Copper will turn lifts as long as conditions allow. Starting today (April 29), American Eagle, Excelerator, Super Bee, and Storm King will be running with access to associated terrain. No beginner terrain will be offered during the extended season. The Superpipe, a hike terrain park at the top of the American Eagle lift, and features below the superpipe will be open for freestyle skiers and riders to utilize.

With $99 lift tickets through closing day, head to Copper for some late-season turns.

Copper has seen 328″ of snow this winter and has a 68″ base.
