Powder Mountain, UT Is Closed Today Due To Heavy Rain, High Winds, & Lightning

Powder Mountain Press Release:

Powder Mountain Resort will be closed for the day and night sessions today, Thursday, March 22nd, due to a spring storm bringing heavy rain, high winds and lightning. Heavy rains will lead to heightened avalanche danger.
The last 5 miles of Powder Mountain Rd. (HWY 158) may close throughout the day Thursday due to avalanche mitigation. Please limit use of Powder Mountain Rd. on Thursday to absolutely necessary trips only and obey the no stopping regulations.

Guests who have pre-purchased day tickets for Thursday, March 22nd will automatically be refunded. If you would like to transfer ticket dates, please contact tickets@powdermountain.com.
