Report from December 8, 2021

Revelstoke reported 7cms of new snow this morning when we woke up.

By the time we left the room, it was up to 12cms.

We hit the gondola at 9am and were dropping in off The Stoke Chair at about 9:25am.

The first turns were sweet and untracked with mostly no bottom.

A bit further down, we were hitting the firm underlayer more frequently.

It was good up high, but pretty tough down low.

North Bowl opened around 11am and was fun.

The weather was in and out fog up high was some tough visibility at times and mostly cloudy all day.

We poked around here and there harvesting fresh tracks where we could and enjoying the great Revelstoke terrain.

I pulled the plug and headed home on the earlier side to rest up while Fox and Ryan stayed out a banged a few more laps.

We can’t wait for the rest of the week here and it looks like more snow is on the way.
