Due to unseasonably low snowfall in November, Opening Day at Revelstoke Mountain Resort, British Columbia, has been postponed. The resort shared the news on their website and social media channels. Revelstoke was slated to open on December 2, 2023.

“Our Mountain Operations team continues to assess conditions on a daily basis to prepare accordingly for the opening of our Resort. This is a dynamic situation and one that continues to evolve as weather patterns change. Our intent is to open the Resort as soon as conditions permit, but the safety of our staff and guests will be our top priority. Stay tuned for additional updates in the near future. Thank you for your patience.”

At the moment a tentative opening date of December 9, 2023, is being suggested, but a final decision will of course depend on conditions prevailing over the next few days and weeks.

Revelstoke Mountain Resort is situated on Mount Mackenzie in British Columbia in Canada, about six and a half hours northeast of Vancouver.
