Silver Mountain Resort, ID, Closed Yesterday Due to “Extreme Weather”

Silver Mountain Resort, ID, closed on Sunday due to “extreme weather.” The resort will reopen on Friday, December 2nd.

Strong winds in the area were the main factor and put a dampener on opening weekend. The resort opened for the season on Friday, November 25th with a foot of new snow and an 8″ base.

The resort is open on weekends until full operations commence on December 15th.

Almost four feet of snow is forecast over the next ten days, so next weekend should be pretty special.
