This shocking footage captures the moment a skydiver’s parachute twisted together mid-air and sent him spiraling towards the ground.
Marine engineer Toms Vajeika, 30, from Riga, Latvia, was skydiving with his girlfriend and a group of 25 other skydivers when his parachute lines became all twisted together during a jump above Fano, Italy, on July 11th.
In the video, caught on his headcam and his girlfriend’s headcam, Toms’ lines became twisted around each other and he is seen spinning out of control in the sky. Luckily Tom was able to untangle the lines and landed safely on the ground.
