Snowbasin Resort, UT, is receiving national attention after being recognized as No. 2 in the west in Ski Magazine’s 2024 Resort Guide. The annual guide is based on the results of the Reader Resort Survey, the most comprehensive, trusted and longest-running rankings in the industry. This is the third year in a row that Snowbasin has landed in the guide’s top 15 resorts, having leaped 12 spots from last year’s edition.

The guide is broken down into 15 categories, depicting the guest experience across every resort. With results derived directly from the first-hand experience of visitors, this is a resource that skiers look to when planning their trips to the slopes each season.

“To be recognized in this way by our loyal guests is a true honor. I’m thankful to be surrounded by a team that is as passionate about this mountain as our guests. Their dedication to creating an unparalleled experience is evident to me every day. Our mission is to create the ‘best day ever’ for everyone that visits our resort and being recognized in this manner helps all of my team see that they are doing just that.”

Snowbasin was one of two Utah resorts listed in the top five spots this season. This news followed the resort also ranking No. 8 overall by PeakRankings, a website that has been independently rating and reviewing ski resorts since 2019. Snowbasin’s sister resort, Sun Valley, received the No. 3 ranking by Ski Magazine and is consistently in the guide’s top three spots. Snowbasin offers several season passes that include access to Sun Valley. Premier Pass Holders and Premier Platinum Pass Holders can ski five days at Sun Valley, save 30% on additional days and save 20% on lodging.

Leading into the 2023-24 season, Snowbasin announced additional investments to further enhance the guest experience across the mountain with the debut of a new high-speed lift, more parking, a new patio with three unique dining units, ground-level bathrooms and more.
