Yesterday was my first day back on snow in 3 weeks after helping out with some family stuff over the holidays.

Squaw got 3″ of wet snow over night and we got out there at opening bell at 9am.

The weather was foggy, overcast, but good visibility on the upper mountain.

We went straight to Shirley Lake and the fresh snow was sticky.

We still had fun, though.

After a run or two you got used to it and could even charge a bit.

My favorite runs were in The Funnel off Emigrant and underneath North Bowl off Headwall.  The Funnel was really fun.

At about noon, we called it and headed home and it started to rain even on the upper mountain.
