Squaw Valley Alpine Meadows, CA is in the midst of a record-breaking snow season and now plans to operate Squaw Valley until Sunday, July 7, weather and conditions permitting. That’s three additional months of skiing and riding. The Spring Skiing Capital will turn into the Summer Skiing Capital!

With all that snow, we are ecstatic to announce that Squaw Valley Alpine Meadows will stay open until July 7th

Squaw Valley will be open Friday through Sunday after Memorial Day on May 27. Alpine Meadows will operate into the month of May, with a schedule dependent on weather, conditions and the construction of the new high-speed chair lift that will replace Hot Wheels.

Can’t beat skiing at the Spring Skiing Capital…

The 2019-20 Ikon Pass is now on sale with benefits that include up to three months of free spring skiing and riding at the resort starting April 8.

Squaw Valley Alpine Meadows has seen 596 inches of snow so far this season, equaling nearly 50 feet, surpassing the resort’s annual average of 450 inches just halfway through the season. With 315 inches falling in February alone, the resort broke its own record for most snowfall in one month, set in January 2017 with 282 inches.
