Itโ€™s Snowing in Lake Tahoe RIGHT NOW | Up to 6โ€ Above 7,500-Feet Photo Tour:

Yep, itโ€™s snowing in Lake Tahoe right now at 4pm PST on September 21st, 2013. Snow levels are down to about 8,000 feet right now and should drop a bit tonight. We have confirmed snow at Mt. Rose highway, Tahoe Donner ski resort, and Mt. Rose ski resort. Weโ€™re sure thereโ€™s lots more out there. Tomorrow will be sunny and weโ€™ll get even more confirmation of snow up high as itโ€™ll be easy to photograph on a beautiful sunny day. The forecast for Tahoe shows another storm with snow coming in next week [โ€ฆ]

Las Leรฑas Ski Resort in Argentina is CLOSED for the Season

Las Leรฑas ski resort in Argentina is closed for the 2013 season. Las Leรฑas ususally stays open until the middle of October if not longer. This season was cut 3 weeks short when Las Leรฑas was forced to close early on September 14th, 2013 due to a major lack of snow. Powder Magazine Review โ€“ Thoughts from the First Issue

Itโ€™s been a long time since I bought an issue of Powder. I let my subscription run out about ten years ago; a subscription I had since I was thirteen years old. As a blossoming ski bum, I remember waiting all summer for the first issue to come out, trying to cope with snow withdrawal and teenage ski angst. When it would appear in the mailbox in August, Iโ€™d be like a kid on Christmas morning. I would bring it inside and pour over the articles and the gear guide, drooling at what was possible in a world of snow. But my beef came in the early 2000โ€™s [โ€ฆ]

Las Leรฑas, Argentina to CLOSE This Saturday | Early Closing Due to Lack of Snow
