British Skier Sets New Guinness Book World Record By Jumping Off Himalayan Peak

A British man, Joshua Bregmen, broke a Guinness World Records for the world’s highest altitude ski-BASE jump. The 34-year-old jumped off the Himalayan mountain, Mera Peak, a 5,716-meter high cliff (18,753 ft), and parachuted to the ground. Erik Roner Died in Lake Tahoe Skydiving Accident Today

We have learned from local sources that professional skier, professional BASE jumper, and Nitro Circus stuntman Erik Roner has died in a skydiving accident in Lake Tahoe, California today. It’s being reported that Erik was skydiving with three other skydivers including JT Holmes & Aaron McGovern. They were performing an opening act at a golf tournament in Lake Tahoe today. Erik reportedly hit a tree while traveling at high speed as he was landing his parachute. The impact reportedly killed him upon impact. Erik hung 30-feet off the ground in the tree he struck for over 30 minutes while waiting emergency crews to reach him.
