VIDEO: Dropping the Chimney at Squaw on Closing Day The day before closing day (yesterday), Squaw Valley received 12″ of new snow in 24 hours. Thus, closing day was great. Closing day was especially great because patrol opened The Chimney for the boys. The Chimney Sweep got some traffic and The Andy Hays and Kyle Cota hit Center Line. Squaw Valley Fingers Race April 17th, 2006 And the winner is… Scott Gaffney. Yep, that first guy ripping down like he owns the place is Scott. He pretty much does own the place.
