Nina Ortlieb suffered a triple fracture while training in St. Moritz, Switzerland for the Downhill and Super-G races of the FIS World Cup circuit. German Chancellor, Angela Merkel, Breaks Pelvis Cross-Country Skiing in Switzerland

German chancellor Angela Merkel broke her pelvis while cross-country skiing in Engadin, Switzerland on her Christmas vacation. Her pelvis broke during a fall on her cross-country skis. Angela initially thought she’s only suffered a bruise but x-rays revealed a fracture in her pelvis. ”She suffered serious bruising in connection with a partial fracture on her left posterior pelvic ring.
