Whistler Blackcomb Will Not Be Open for Glacier Skiing/Riding This Summer

The coronavirus strikes again. Due to pandemic concerns, Whistler Blackcomb has announced that it will not be opening its glacier for skiing and snowboarding this summer. 9,624′ Sonora Pass, CA Will NOT Open Today As Scheduled Due To Approaching Snowstorm

9,624′ Sonora Pass, CA was scheduled to open today at noon.  10 minutes before noon, Caltrans announced that they would not be opening the pass due to the approaching snowstorm. Caltrans will reassess the situation on Saturday and make another announcement.
