Over the last week the sun has been shining down on Whistler Blackcomb. It has made it possible to go deep in the alpine, go shred some soft spring snow in the sun on resort, or hit up the park. As long as you played it smart and stayed away from the shaded skied out areas you were bound to have a sunny, fun time.

Mammoth Fun Report: Nothing But Good Times on the Final Weekend

This weekend is Mammoth’s final weekend of operations and things are getting rowdy out there. We saw some great costumes out there. Some were so good, we weren’t even sure if they were costumes… The skiing was stellar as well. Things were soft by 9am as it was a hot day. Clouds rolled in during the afternoon and cooled things off a bit, which really helped. Vail Resorts Makes Surprise Offer to Buy Park City

The latest news in ongoing wranglings between Vail Resorts and PCMR, Vail Resorts has offered to buy Park City Resort’s base facilities. This video shows Candide Thovex getting nutty in the park last week in Val Thorens, France. The guy is a freak. He doesn’t even need two skis to land big tricks. On a side note, it looks like the alps have a lot of snow and some great coverage right now, huh? Candide is certainly in the running for greatest skier of all time.
