10″ of Powder at Snowbird, UT Today| Snow Forecasted All Week! Utah is doing the big snow during late season thing again. They did it last year, too. Ok, gimme a break, they do it every year. There is something about late season pow and Utah… As of 11pm PST today, Snowbird has gotten 5″ of snow in the past 24 hours and 10″ of snow in the past 48 hours. They have a base depth of 108″ and they’ve now gotten 418″ of snow this season. I guess we’ll have to update that 15 Biggest Snowfall Totals in North America after this storm. The snow machine is on full speed! We picked up another 19 inches in the past 24 hours. This is just incredible! The 11 day storm total is 113 inches (that’s over 9 feet). The stoke meter is off the charts! – Crystal Mountain Unfortunately, a skier suffocated in a tree well in the deep snow at Crystal yesterday. He was reported missing and quickly found by patrol.
