Mammoth Fun Report: Nothing But Good Times on the Final Weekend This weekend is Mammoth’s final weekend of operations and things are getting rowdy out there. We saw some great costumes out there. Some were so good, we weren’t even sure if they were costumes… The skiing was stellar as well. Things were soft by 9am as it was a hot day. Clouds rolled in during the afternoon and cooled things off a bit, which really helped. The park was great until about noon thirty when it got really slushy and unpredictable with the sun/shade oscillations. The upper mountain off the gondy and Chair 23 was great all day.
