Why Bariloche, Argentina is Really Great | Photo Tour:

I probably shouldn’t write this story because of the intense bias I have towards Bariloche. I think it’s similar to when you say – “no offense but…”. It gives you free license to say whatever you want afterwards and no offense can possibly be taken, right? So it is with me declaring my bias for Bariloche. If I declare it, I can exaggerate Bariloche’s level-of-radness all I want, right? Ok, now that I got all that off my chest, I can start talking about the skiing. Catedral ski resort in Bariloche is suberb because of the simple side-country access. You ride lifts up, engage in a bit of hiking, and you’re into some killer terrain.

Tahoe Scenes : Recent Photography From Around The Lake (July)

This July will be remembered as the time that moisture happened in Tahoe… at least as far as the last few summers are concerned. The recent storms are a welcomed shift from the months of dry weather for many obvious reasons, but they also have the fun side effects of some really neat lightning shows and great sunsets. These photos are all from […]

“A Tribute to Discomfort” | Watch This Video, Now.

This video will hit you hard. It’s made to. Ideally, after you watch this video, you’ll push your chair back, look out the window and ask yourself: “what am I doing with my life?” This doesn’t mean that what you’re doing with your life isn’t just right. It’s just the point of this video. The point is to ask yourself that question. And if there is something else you’d rather be doing, we hope you at […]

Top 10 North American Snow Totals This Past Week:

There were some ridiculous snow totals in North America last week. We feel that it’s very necessary to report and celebrate these silly snow totals. It’s been a rough year for so many locales and now it’s time to party. Mt. Bachelor got nuked on. Tahoe went from zero to hero. Colorado went off. Washington is getting into it now. We know we likely missed someone in here (wolf creeks’ website has been down). Let us know who we missed […]

Top 10 Deepest Snowpacks in North America:

It’s been an interesting year for snow in North America. That said, the ski resorts with the most snow in North America aren’t too different from a usual year.
