NOAA: 2-6″ of Snow for Tahoe This Weekend

There is snow forecast for Lake Tahoe this weekend. We know that sounds weird to put “snow” and “tahoe” in the same sentence without the word “no”, but we’re going for it. All the sources we could find are saying about 6″ of snow on the highest Tahoe peaks on Sunday and Monday. Winter Storm Warning for Tahoe: 12-20″ Above 7,000 Feet for Weekend

NOAA has issued a Winter Storm Warning for Lake Tahoe, California. The warning is in effect beginning Saturday evening and ends on Sunday night. 12-20 inches of snow are forecast above 7,000 feet during the winter storm warning. Snow will begin on Friday with snow levels around lake level. Snow levels will rise up to 8,000 feet on Saturday night, then lower back down to lake level on Sunday. […]
