VIDEO: Las Lenas, Argentina Spine Skiing & Hucking Yesterday One of our Las Lenas, Argenitna reporters, Adria Millan, finally got access to the big terrain in Las Lenas yesterday in decent conditions and he went off. He knows these lines as well as anyone and he sent this line full bore. The only way we know the snow wasn’t perfect is because Adria didn’t throw a 360º. The guy throws at least one 360 nearly every run normally. 38″ of snow are in the forecast for Las Lenas is the next 6 days. Lets hope this forecast holds up! Las Lenas, Argentina Conditions Report: Good Up High, Bad Down Low | The End Is Near… Looks like the season might be coming to an end soon. Rumors have spread that the 8th of September has been set as the closing date. Last week was warm and we enjoyed spring skiing conditions. The storm that was supposed to hit Las Leñas last weekend with about a half a meter of snow was a disappointment. It started to snow a little bit on Saturday around noon and continued on and off until Sunday. But it didn’t really accumulate in the valley, but up high and in Valle Hermoso it snowed quit a lot. Big Mountain Powder Report: Las Lenas, Argentina After getting about a foot of fresh snow on Wednesday, August 6th, 2014, the Marte chair opened again on Thursday. Las Lenas Conditions Report: Riding the Famous “Torrecillas” Our reporters in Las Lenas, Argentina have been getting after it. On July 20th, 2014, they went after the famous zone of Torrecillas. It’s about a 2 hour hike and well worth it. The snow looks like it was smooth and OK but not perfect and that didn’t slow these guys down at all. Make sure to skip to 1:43 to watch Adria’s line.
