2024/2025 Taos season passes are now on sale. I spent a week at Taos for a freeride competition several years ago. It was one of the best weeks of spring skiing of my life. It was full of sunshine, short lift lines, corn, steep skiing, and hot laps. I can only imagine Taos on a mid-winter powder day. I hope to make it back to spend some more time exploring the mountain.

The New Mexico ski resort is at a low latitude and high elevation and offers some of the best spring skiing in the nation. If you pay for your pass in full now, most winter 2025 passes can be used to ski for the rest of the season. Harvest some corn at Taos this spring and start getting value out of your pass before next season’s opening day!

Right now, Taos passes are the lowest price of the year. Good ski bums buy their pass at the lowest rate – don’t wait! This includes three passes under $500, other passes with year-round mountain access, and multiple variations that allow for increased flexibility. Check out some of Taos’s pass offerings below, and check out its website for military/ first responder, senior, and other age-specific pricing.

Passes with Flexibility:

The Kachina Plus Pass ($1995 adult 36-64, $1650 Zia 18-35, $1200 youth 7-17) provides the most flexibility to explore Taos in all seasons with no blackout dates and an IKON Base Pass. This includes a complimentary summer pass and a $250 credit at The Blake in summer 2024 and winter 2025. This pass also comes with eight $90 buddy tickets. This pass sets you up to have Taos as your home mountain and go on a few road trips to explore IKON pass destinations.

The Kachina Pass ($1395 adult 36-64, $975 Zia 18-35, $600 youth 7-17) is similar to the Plus pass and allows you to explore Taos in all seasons with no blackout dates. The Kachina Pass will now get a $250 credit at The Blake for summer 2024, a complementary summer pass, and six $90 buddy tickets. If your work schedule requires skiing during holidays and peak weekends, this is the pass for you.

The Value Pass ($875 adult 36-64, $625 Zia 18-35, $375 youth 7-17) gets you exploring Taos most of the time with a little less flexibility. It has blackout dates during holiday times, includes a summer season pass, and four $90 buddy tickets. This is the SnowBrains choice pass, which is affordable and offers nearly unlimited skiing at Taos.

The Kachina Plus, Kachina, and Value passes offer many benefits to get your best value. These passes come with a summer season pass to access unlimited lift-served mountain biking and scenic rides. Plan for winter and get an extra summer vacation! All three passes are automatically entered in a sweepstakes and will be entered to win a 4-night stay at Islas Secas (all expenses paid, excluding getting to Panama) or a 3-night stay at Trinchera. This sweepstake is only offered with passes paid in full during the Spring Sale (18+).

The 5-day Pass ($495 Adult 36-64, $425 Zia 18-35, $240 youth 7-17) is new for the 2024/2025 season. This pass is new this season and gets five days to use at Taos with limited blackouts. This pass has no benefits or discounts and is not eligible for 2024 spring skiing. It is perfect for those who only head up a few times a season and want to avoid holiday crowds.

The High Noon Pass ($495 adult 36-64, $425 Zia 18-35, $240 youth 7-17) offers limited access to Taos with skiing after noon and some holiday blackout dates. Get to the mountain once it softens up, and take hot laps on Kachina! It offers the option to purchase a summer 2024 pass at 50% off.

The Midweek Pass ($495 adult 36-64, $425 Zia 18-35, $240 youth 7-17) is self-explanatory. This pass gets you skiing without the crowds. Ski and ride Monday – Thursday with holiday blackout periods. This pass also offers the option to purchase a summer 2024 pass at 50% off.

Payment Plans and Pass Assurance Programs:

Taos offers a payment plan to buy in spring and pay over six months. The summer sale will allow for a three-month payment plan. You do not pay more for your pass; you just divide it up into six or three payments.

Taos’s Pass Assurance program gives you peace of mind when making your ski investment for the next ski season. The program allows you to receive a prorated reimbursement on your pass for qualified reasons. Protect your investment with this program! The pricing structure is now pass-type dependent (a percentage of the pass price). For questions, check out the FAQ page.
