Team Palisades Tahoe on the Podium

In the past two weeks, Team Palisades Tahoe athletes have competed at Kirkwood, California, and Grand Targhee in Wyoming and have earned multiple first-place finishes and podiums.

At the IFSA Junior 3 event at Kirkwood, Team Palisades Tahoe had 19 top-five finishes across seven categories, landing the first-place spot in each.

1st Place & Top 5 Finishers:

  • 1st in U9 Ski Men – Jack Dolan
  • 4th Zebedee Schreiber
  • 5th – Donovan Martin
  • 1st in U19 Ski Women – Indy Boyer (Currently 1st in IFSA Junior Rankings)
  • 3rd – Taylor DeNitto
  • 5th – Genevieve Schuster
  • 1st in U19 Snowboard Men – Cass Jones (Currently 1st in IFSA Junior Rankings)
  • 2nd – Tyler Thomson
  • 4th – Ronin Ho
  • 5th – Kai Cortez
  • 1st in U19 Snowboard Women – Julia Bouligny (Currently 3rd in IFSA Junior Rankings)
  • 3rd – Riley Ericksen
  • 1st in U15 Ski Women – Hania Nowak
  • 3rd – Tabitha Silvern
  • 4th – Penelope Coughlin
  • 1st in U15 Ski Men – Gabriel Griffin
  • Brian Reiter – 4th
  • 1st in U15 Snowboard Men – Gage Holden
  • 5th – Tristan Bumann

Team Palisades Tahoe scored four separate awards at the week-long, invite-only Western Region Championships in Grand Targhee, Wyoming.

  • 1st in U14 Women – Ivy Wilson
  • 3rd in U14 Men – Carl Cunningham
  • Hard Charger Award – Ashlyn James and Stella Mercer

In the past 24 hours, Palisades Tahoe has received eight inches of snow at the summit, with more on the way this weekend. This brings its total snowfall for March to 12 feet and nearly 31 feet for the season. This puts the resort at just over 92% of our average annual snowfall, typically 400 inches.
