Temperature Fell to -44ºF in Colorado Yesterday | Coldest In All of Lower 48

Temperatures in Colorado plummeted yesterday morning, with early morning temperatures at Antero Reservoir hitting a low of -44ºF. Elsewhere, -34º was reported in Waverly, -32º in Cowdrey, -22 degrees in Tabernash, and -18 degrees in Dillon.

According to the NWS, the temperature at Antero Reservoir was the lowest temperature in the contiguous US yesterday.

Out There Colorado reports that the coldest recorded temperature in Colorado was -61ºF, and the coldest for North America was -80ºF, unsurprisingly in Alaska.
