When you set a snowfall record of over 900 inches for the season, you must wonder how long it will stick around.

At Alta, the answer is well into summer, as they still measure over eight feet of snow under Devil’s Castle.

See the update from Ski Utah Instagram below.

The snowpack is about 20 inches less than two weeks ago when it measured over 10 feet.

Although the snow is now melting faster as summer heats up, it appears that they are already looking forward to the upcoming ski season as the days are now getting shorter.
