It’s on!

Incoming snowfall has prompted Yosemite National Park officials to close Tioga Road (Highway 120 through the park) today at 6 p.m. in anticipation of winter conditions. Tioga Road didn’t fully open this year until July 22, its latest opening ever, and now it is temporarily closing in late October due to forecasted snowfall.

Winter is coming to California—sooner, rather than later.
