U.S. Ski & Snowboard announced the 31 athletes that will represent the US Snowboard Team across four disciplines at the 2023 FIS Freestyle World Championships in Bakuriani, Georgia, from February 19 to March 5, 2023. Among the 31 athletes are 15 Olympians and several World Championship veterans, like Chris Corning and Lindsey Jacobellis, so medal aspirations are high for Bakuriani. The team will also feature several promising rookies.

“We are bringing many of our up-and-coming stars along with several athletes on the team competing in their first World Championships. Headlined by Lindsey Jacobellis who is a five-time World Champion and will be competing in her eighth World Championships, I’m looking forward to seeing what this younger group of athletes is capable of, especially when they have athletes like Lindsey showing the next generation how a champion operates.”

U.S. Snowboard Team Director Rick Bower
