Congratulations to all the skiers announced to the US Olympic Ski Team for the 2014 Winter Olympics in Sochi Russia.  We want to send a special shout out to our friend and fellow Squaw ripper Travis Ganong.

Travis scored his first World Cup points in 2010 on US Ski Team and was selected for the 2014 US Olympic Ski Team this week.  Travis also just completed a career best 7th place at the world famous Kitbuehel, Austria downhill and a career best 6th place at the Kitzbuehel Super G.  Not a bad year, huh Travis?  Unreal.

We’re confident this the start of a fantastic ski racing career and we can’t wait to follow every minute of it.

And… it’s nice that Travis won’t have time to freeski at Squaw for a bit because he’s way better than the rest of us and always tracks out the best lines first!

“I love free skiing and big mountain skiing just as much as racing, and they both kind of help out the other.”  – Travis Ganong

Congrats Travis!
