For the fourth consecutive year, Vail Resorts has been recognized byย Forbesย as one of โAmericaโs Best Employers” in a list comprising of the countryโs 500 most highly regarded, large employers.

In collaboration with analytics firm Statista,ย Forbesย selected Americaโs Best Employers based on an independent survey from a sample of more than 50,000ย U.S.ย employees working for companies employing at least 1,000 people in theirย U.S.ย operations, explains the Tahoe Daily Tribune.ย The respondents were asked to rate, on a scale of zero to 10, how likely theyโd be to recommend their employer to others.ย In addition, participants were requested to evaluate other employers that stood out either positively or negatively in their respective industries.
โOur mission is to create an โExperience of a Lifetimeโ for our employees so they can, in turn, provide anย Experience of a Lifetimeย to guests visiting our resorts around the world,โ Vail Resorts Chief Human Resources Officer Lynanne Kunkel said in a press release. โWe are committed to the ongoing investment in the development of our extraordinary talent and appreciate this recognition byย Forbes.โ
The companyโs efforts to advance women in a traditionally male-dominated industry also recently earnedย Vail Resortsย recognition byย Forbesย as a โBest Employer for Diversityโ and by theย Colorado Womenโs Chamber of Commerceย as a โChampion of Change.โ
Vail Resorts operates 15 ski resorts in North America and is credited with revolutionizing the ski industry (although not without its critics) with its Epic Pass.
