Ryan Faye has been throwing down this season. From the Chimney and Siberia Ridge at Squaw, to Alaskan faces on the Freeride World Tour, to the kickers at Snowbird, Ryan turned heads and cemented his status as part of the next generation of top Squaw freeriders.
Ryan started his freeride career on the Squaw Valley Big Mountain team, and just finished his rookie year on the Freeride World Tour, where he turned in a slew of impressive results including a third place at the FWT’s finals on Verbier’s Bec des Rosses. In between traveling the world for freeride competitions and catching powder days at Squaw and Snowbird, Ryan somehow found time to graduate from the University of Utah. What a winter, to be sure.

From non-stop pow at my home resort of Squaw to traveling the globe with the Freeride World Tour it’s been the best winter I’ve ever had. Major thanks to the family, friends, and sponsors that made it all possible!!
Ryan is only 22 years old, so his career is just getting started. Make sure to check him out on the Freeride World Tour and at Squaw next year!
