VIDEO: Thompson Pass, AK Has Received 76″ of Snow In 5 Days | Crews Are Working To Clear Avalanche Debris

The Alaska Department of Transportation just posted of video of crews working on Thompson Pass, AK. The road is closed after a 200-foot long and 20 feet deep avalanche struck the road at 3:30am on Wednesday morning. The area has received 76″ of snow in just 5 days. It will be a long clean up process, but crews are working to reopen the road.
