The Himalayas are legendary, awesome, fearsome, and still quite mysterious. Â There really isn’t any easy way to access nor ski them, except for Indian Kashmir’s Gulmarg ski resort.
Gulmarg is big [33 named bowls], Gulmarg is high [13,054 feet], and Gulmarg is long [4,265-vertical feet]. Â They have the world’s second highest gondola that gives you access to the top of a 3 mile long ridge.
Gulmarg averages 590 inches of annual snowfall and a busy day means only about 200 people at the resort. Â One run will cost you $5. Â Not bad.
The culture is main feature here with amazing Kashmiri cuisine and the chance to get totally freaked out in Srinagar, India’s Lake Dal.. Â
I’ll be guiding in Gulmarg for The Adventure Project during winter 2016. Â I’m currently looking for clients to join me for a ski adventure in the Himalayas for the dates listed below.
***If you sign up before June 30th, you get a $300 discount.
