“Pretty good storm. About 30 inches with loads of wind. Tree skiing up high was bottomless.   Amazing how some pow just makes your world a better place.” – Whistler Local

Whistler just got 76cms (30 inches) in 72 hours.  They’d (as much of North America) just went through an extended dry period and this storm was a big relief.

Rejoice! Ullr, god of snow, has finally woke from his slumber and made up for lost time by dumping 76cms on Whistler Blackcomb over 72 hours! Incredible time-lapse footage taken the night of Friday Jan10 when mountains received 43cms overnight! Skiers and shred legends including Craig McMorris, Marie France Roy and their friends make the most of super deep conditions all over Whistler Blackcomb the weekend of Jan 11-12. – Whistler
