The pinnacle of competitive eating in the U.S. is undoubtedly the Nathan’s Hot Dog Eating Contest, which takes place annually on the Fourth of July on Coney Island, New York. Last year, Joey Chestnut won the contest for the fifteenth time when he downed 63 dogs in 10 minutes, taking home $10,000 in prize money.

Now, Jackson Hole Mountain Resort (JHMR), Wyoming, will host its own hot dog eating contest, only this contest will be much different. The contest dubbed the “Bear Fight” will take place at the Bear Flats Snack Shack located mid-mountain on Saturday, March 9, at noon.  The hot dogs involved are not your normal ballpark franks either. Contestants will be eating the Shack’s all-new “Bear Dogs,” and they are huge.

The prize for the winners in both the men’s and women’s categories will be a pair of new skis. There is a $25 entry fee, and you can sign up here.
