Jackson has had a spectacular winter so far and there is still a long way to go.  It’s only early February and winter in Wyoming is known to last into June.  It’s going to be an amazing year in Jackson Hole, Wyoming.

  1. Well, Cliff that is marketing, all in all it is a very fun place to work/teach. A big wind event today with blowing mixed precip/ crap over coral reef. The afternoon was ok with Sublette blown down all day. JH is many things to many people (skiers); the best skiing isn’t out the gates or on the pass but in the National Park. Actually, the Wind River Mountains in the spring or all summer (days off) offer awesome ski mountaineering or ski touring. You should come and check it out (JH) ,Tram down E Ridge to N Hoback; the complete vertical and high quality in bounds steep skiing, best in U.S. easy!

  2. It’s kind of funny because if you look at the tram building and the snow around it things look decidedly spring like. Jackson reports and pics should be taken with a grain of salt. I believe they are very aggressive on social media

  3. Nice hype, although our snowpack is average. Average at JH is better than good at most places. Just imagine if the temperatures were normal, then it would be deep.

Got an opinion? Let us know...
