Loveland Pass, Arapahoe Basin, and Copper Mountain ski resorts in Colorado are already making snow.

Loveland Pass & Arapahoe Basin are hoping to open this month (they could even be open by next week…). Copper Mountain is scheduled to open on November 11th.

Loveland Pass & Arapahoe Basin were the first ski resorts to open in North America last season on October 29th, 2015. Copper Mountain opened shortly thereafter on November 11th, 2015.

The forecast for this week looks great for snowmaking with lows in the 20s in Summit County, CO.

NOAA has issued a Hazardous Weather Outlook for Colorado that is forecasting “accumulating snow” down to 6,500-feet Wednesday/Thursday.
