Loveland & Arapahoe Basin ski areas in Colorado are both open right now.  This is the first time in history that two Colorado ski resorts have opened on the same day and today is the latest opening day in Colorado in 20 years.  Both ski resorts are hoping to open more terrain by the weekend.

Both locations experienced relatively light crowds for first chair and Nate Dogg, a Breckenridge local, got first chair in Colorado for the 20th season in a row!  Nate got in line on Monday night….  That’s three days and three nights of waiting for first chair…  Congrats, Nate!

Loveland & A-Basin are located only 7 miles away from each other.
