North America still has two ski resort open daily and one that will be open this weekend. Badass.
Thanks, El Nino.
If this all doesn’t freak you out enough, just know that one ski resort is already open in South America…  It’s been open for 3 days already and they have 43″ of snow forecast today.
Get out there and get some before they all close down for the summer.  November is a long way away…

Yeah, and to further that accuracy, Blackcomb glacier opens Saturday through July 17.
Crystal Mountain in Washington is open weekends through June 12th, in case you were interested in this article being accurate.
Crystal planned to re-open in June after being closed for about a month when they could have run lifts, but warm temps melted the snow so I think you are incorrect. If you have a link to current operations that show they are open for skiing and snowboarding, please post it. They posted this May 2 at http://www.crystalmountain.com/winter/snowreport :
“Base: Melted
Lift Hours: See you next season!”
On May 20, they tweeted at https://twitter.com/crystalmt “Record temps melted away the snow. The Gondola will open for sightseeing next weekend but no skiing in Green Valley.”
