After 604″ of Snow, Mt. Bachelor, OR Will Re-Open for 4th of July Weekend!

Mt. Bachelor ski resort in Oregon saw 604″ of snowfall this season.  They still have an 85-145″ snowpack right now!

That copious snow total has lead them to a re-opening in for 4th of July weekend!

Bachelor has been open 8 times in its 58-year history.  2011 was the last time they did it.  This year, they’re gonna make it 9.

“We are so excited to share the news that Mt. Bachelor plans to reopen for skiing and snowboarding for three days this summer: July 2-4 (Sunday-Tuesday).

Many of our long-time guests remember skiing in July at Mt. Bachelor in the past, and with so much snow this winter, we can’t pass up the amazing opportunity to ski the Summit on the 4th of July this year. Stay tuned for more details!” – Mt. Bachelor

The Sunrise and Summit lifts will run from 8am-1pm from July 2nd – July 4th.  

Bachelor will close on May 28th and will remained closed until the July 4th holiday.
