9,943′ Tioga Pass (CA Hwy 120) had been open since April 18th to the pass from the East. Â Then a series of storms rolled in last week closing 120 on the east side of the pass at the gate just 4 miles west of the 395 junction.
Today at noon, Hwy 120 once again opened from the east to Tioga pass. Â This means that nearly every line in Tioga is fresh right now.
There is still no set date for the opening of Tioga Pass from the west.

Sonora Pass (CA Hwy 108), as of today, was still closed at the gate only 3 miles west of the 395 junction.
