With today marking the end of Altaโs seasonal snowfall observation period, weโll finish our 82nd winter with 542โโjust five inches below Altaโs 40-year average of 547โ. Lets hope the eventual return to normal includes snowbanks as high as those of yesteryear.

The season before, 18/19 was a particularly awesome season, seeing 626โณ of the greatest snow on earth.
The 542โณ last season is the 4th best total in the last decade, which includes the 626โณ the year before, and also the unbelievable 724โณ season of 10/11.
