It snowed almost two feet out of this storm and Alta even went into an interlodge this morning (Thursday, Jan. 2nd, 2020).Â
Wildcat and the High Traverse were firing early on and Baldy Shoulder opened up around noon.
The snow was fluffy and playful where it was untracked and undisturbed.
It was getting less fluffy and shredable where tracks began to accumulate.
No complaints though: even the avy debris were easily manageable.
Backside and the Devil’s Castle were kept closed so tomorrow should be another banger!
